Time in Southern Pines!

I spent the last two weeks in Southern Pines, NC. My father grew up in the area so I stayed at his best friend's place.(Marcel)
I really enjoyed my time with them! I felt very at home and like family!
During the week I spent my time interning at Marcel's development company. He is an architect, and because I am interested in architecture, he showed me what he does for a living. I also had a great time with the other family members!
They even gave me a car for the time of my stay!
During the weekend we did great things, for example a trip to the amusement park Carowinds, where the Carolinas meet. (That's why you can see two flags!) I went there with the eldest daughter Sophie! It was great!  But she was too scared to go on the biiig rides...😉

Her brother Max showed me how to skate and we took his dirt bike for a ride. Did a few donuts before the neighbour complained...

I really enjoyed the two weeks in Southern Pines!
