Today I visited the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) with a few friends from UNC. They are exchange students from Singapore and I met one of them during a visit at the local art museum of Chapel Hill. They are very nice guys to hang out with. They picked me up and we drove to an Asian Market to have lunch before the museum.
When we arrived at the NCMA we at first didn't recognise the museum because we were looking for a big building and the museum was slightly down the hill next to the road and it looked like a huge warehouse. But from the other side it was this modern building. The museum is quite big so we didn't cover everthing. We went on an interesting tour. The museum has everything from ancient Egyptian statues to contemporary art. The building is very spacious and smartly designed. It's very modern and simple; focusing mainly on the art.
Afterwards we passed by Aldi, I am amazed that they have that here! (German discount supermarket) And it is really cheap compared to the other supermarkets in the area!
Hey Guys! I'm Chris. Welcome to my blog! I'm currently on my gap year and want to travel the US! Come join me! If you are accessing the site with your phone I recommend to use the web version and not the mobile version because it does not show all elements. ;D
